After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must go on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
Though part of a larger cinematic universe, this adventure film works great as a standalone movie, as it has a self-contained plot and enough background information on each character for viewers to understand their motivations and roles in the story.
For those familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), this final film of Phase 5 takes place shortly after the events of Captain America: Brave New World and sets the stage for future events, including the next two Avengers movies.
