Henderson Libraries offers Wi-Fi Hotspots for check out! Connect while on the go!

Wi-Fi Hotspots are capable of accessing cellular networks so you can watch videos, play games, or be productive virtually anywhere. The device is portable and can be used almost anywhere within the continental United States.

Borrower assumes full responsibility for the cost of repair/replacement if the Wi-Fi Hotspot is lost, stolen or damaged. Borrower agrees to Henderson Libraries Internet Service Policy.

    • Who can borrow a Wi-Fi Hotspot?

      Anyone with a Henderson Library card in good standing (with less than $6.00 in fines) is allowed to check out a Wi-Fi Hotspot. You are limited to checking out/requesting one (1) hotspot device at a time.

    • Where can I borrow a Wi-Fi Hotspot?

      You can borrow a WiFi hotspot at any Henderson location. If your location does not have a hotspot currently available, you may place a request to hold a hotspot just like other borrowable materials from the library.

    • How long can I check out a Wi-Fi Hotspot?

      The loan period is seven (7) days, and can be renewed up to five (5) times, as long as there no one waiting on hold for it.

      Please Note: Wireless service will be discontinued if the Hotspot is overdue.

    • What comes in a Wi-Fi Hotspot kit?

      Each WiFi hotspot kit contains:

      • 1 case
      • 1 hotspot device
      • 1 USB-C cable
      • 1 quick charge wall charger

      Hotspots must be returned with all parts, including the case.

    • What happens if I lose a part in the Wi-Fi Hotspot kit?

      Missing parts will result in the following fees:

      • Hotspot only replacement cost: $50.00
      • SIM Card only replacement cost: $25.00
      • Case only replacement cost: $35.00
      • Cable only replacement cost:$4.00
      • Power brick only replacement cost: $7.00
      • Entire item replacement cost: $85.00
