The library reserves the right to decide what to do with your donations. We may decide to: add them to the library's collection; put them in the Friends of the Library Book Sale; discard them; or donate them to another library or organization.
The library requests that all donated materials come in a storage container. We will keep the container or box.
The library cannot provide a call back or return unused donations.
The library can give you a receipt for tax purposes, but cannot put a dollar amount on your donation.
The library may occasionally be unable to accept donations because of limited storage space. It is always best to call ahead.
The Giving Tree is a commemorative display in the Reading Room of the Paseo Verde Library where you can honor a loved one by sponsoring an engraved leaf, acorn, or stone and providing a valuable gift to your community libraries.
See the brochure for more information and for the donation form.
The Friends of Henderson Libraries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in February 2000 with the goal of supporting the programs and services of the Henderson Libraries through fundraising and volunteerism. They accept donations of books, movies, CDs, etc. to be sold in their bookstores and book sales at the library. You can also donate directly to them. Find out more at hdplfriends.org/donate.html.
The purpose of the Henderson Libraries Foundation is to support Henderson Libraries in its mission and to increase financial support, particularly through gifts, grants, and bequests. Find out more about ways to donate at hendersonlibrariesfoundation.org/donate.
