Please read over our guidelines for program proposals. If you feel your program is a good fit for our libraries and beneficial to the community, you may fill out our Program Interest form. Our Programming Department will review your form and will contact you if we would like to proceed.
LIBRARY'S PURPOSE
At Henderson Libraries, we set out to build a culture of belonging. Creating programming that responds and reflects on our communities' range in diversity, so that everyone knows that they belong. Working to build and share our collective stories to bring people into virtual and physical spaces.
PROGRAM POLICY
Henderson programming strives to provide quality events and workshops that promotes the use of library materials, services, and resources to the community on areas of interests, for example:
Our programming priorities align with the Henderson Libraries Strategic Plan goals, which is to build a culture of belonging and to build and share our story with the Henderson community.
We are currently not accepting interest forms for Youth/Teen programs.
Selection of library program topics, speakers, presentations, and resource materials will be made by library staff based on the interests and needs of library users and the community. If you are interested in presenting a program with Henderson Libraries, please review the following information and complete the Program Interest Form.
Planning for library programs starts 3-5 months before the program will occur. Programming is planned in three-month cycle:

Violation of these or any other library regulations is grounds for program cancellation, denial of subsequent proposals, loss of library privileges, etc., as deemed appropriate by Henderson Libraries administration.
