Learn about the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh, one of the world’s greatest artists. “The Starry Night” is one of the most famous paintings of all time. It has been seen and duplicated on everything, from posters to shoes. In 1888 the artist wrote “the night sky is much more alive and richly colored than the day.” Gaining inspiration from this amazing work of art we will create our own "Starry Night” and like Van Gogh, use lots of color and texture. This oil pastel landscape is as exciting to create as the real work of art.
