Workshop #4: Character

Throughout this 7-workshop series, writers will learn various techniques for creating compelling fiction. Practice writing short stories and learn to constructively workshop your own work and others'.

The "Iowa style" of workshopping will be followed—a technique that provides the safest, most constructive, and most creatively free environment for peer critiquing.

Sean Hoade's books have been published by four imprints worldwide. Since 2000, he has written eleven novels, five Penny Dreadful "novelettes," one short story collection, and one book of non-fiction. Sean gives lectures and presentations, contributes to panels, and goes around the country teaching creative writing at public libraries, pop culture conventions, and literary festivals, regarding all aspects of writing dramatic fiction.
