AA Monet
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, AA Monet is a 2x published author and award-winning poet and screenwriter. Her first published work, "Lost And Found," is an interactive poetry book that allows the reader to name/title each of the poems. Her newly released 3-in-1 children’s book, "All The Things That Make You Special," allows children to not only read, but draw and color. With recent partnerships with local bookstores, restaurants, and daycares, AA Monet aims to leave a lasting impression throughout her community one book at a time!
Alan Olsen
Alan Olsen is an author, entrepreneur, and former medical-device executive with decades of experience building companies, leading teams, and navigating high-stakes industries. After a successful career in healthcare innovation, he turned his focus to writing—exploring themes of resilience, leadership, civic trust, and the deep bonds that shape our lives.
His work blends lived experience with thoughtful reflection, offering readers both perspective and practical insight. Alan lives in Nevada and continues to write, speak, and engage on issues that matter to individuals, families, and communities.

Bethanie Finger
Bethanie Finger is a Young Adult historical fantasy author whose debut trilogy, More Than Life, has been praised as “a page-turner for all romantasy fans.” In 2024, she was voted Best YA Debut Author by the Indi-Visible Charity Awards, and More Than Life was named Best YA Debut Series.
Bethanie holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and Creative Writing from the University of Southern Mississippi. When she’s not writing, Bethanie enjoys hiking, podcasting, and exploring the world. She lives in Nevada with her family and an ever-growing TBR pile.
Brett A Thacker
Brett Thacker is an award-winning math TEACHER who specializes in making students smarter. Mr. Thacker is one of the last of his kind, a teacher who creates his own lessons and whose results are backed up by the best test scores in the state of Nevada.
Through his 12 years of teaching, Mr. Thacker saw what was becoming of America’s education system and knew he had to do something about it. Cade Meridian
Cade Meridian writes music and stories for those who can't speak for themselves. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he immigrated to the United States and now lives in Henderson with his wife Sherol. His debut novel The Weight of Petals follows four children fleeing through Las Vegas after their parents are arrested under an authoritarian regime—exploring how ordinary people become complicit in persecution, and how conscience survives when everything demands silence. Dee Rollings was born and raised in Las Vegas. When not writing romantic comedies or thrillers, she likes playing with her kid, going on Jeep adventures with her husband, and driving her race car at the speedway.

Dennis Madden is a lifelong thinker, public historian, and storyteller whose work spans leadership, historical analysis, and practical problem‑solving. He lives in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife Jenn, his partner of more than 34 years.

Hi, I'm Emily. I write YA contemporary romance for young adults who feel out of place and want a little hope mixed in with the hard stuff. My books dig into real things like grief, anxiety, and bullying, but they always come back to hope, healing, and the kind of love that shows up when life gets messy. When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me with green tea, a tall TBR pile, and my cat, who treats twist ties like treasures.

Erica Sherlock, a retired teacher of 23 years, spent the better part of her life in the trenches with adolescents, empathizing with their joys and their strife, their hopes and their angst. I was one of the first females in the nation to be hired as a Deputy U.S. Marshal, hence my memoir, "Lucky Thirteen." My second book was a crime fiction and I have just completed the biography of Harry Reid, my cousin. I have a BA and MA from UNLV and spent 2 sessions at Exeter College, Oxford.

Jean Morken was born, raised, and received her early schooling in the Midwest. She and her husband, Ed, raised their family in Northern California where she completed her education at the University of California, San Francisco.
The children moved to opposite coasts, and Jean and her husband relocated to the Southern Nevada desert, a land of wide-open spaces, unique beauty, and morning peace. In that quiet time, she wrote her first novel, The Weekly Edition.

Jim DeZerga is a first-time author, but no stranger to published work, having had two articles published in two national magazines. His love for bicycling is evident with each turn of the page in his book "The Lone Cyclist". Jim is a graduate of Western Nevada College and resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Ada, having recently moved from Carson City. Marnee Foldoe
I’ve wanted to be an author since taking a Creative Writing class in high school. After a teaching career (general education and special education), I began volunteering at McKee Ranch in Las Vegas taking care of the chickens and discovered my passion: chickens. My first four books are about a fictitious family with backyard chickens. I have since begun a series about the animals at McKee Ranch, starting with their potbelly pig, Stewart.
I think literacy is CRITICAL. I write picture books and chapter books for children that will entertain and educate the reader.

Brenda Poulos is a transplant from Arizona where she was a public school teacher and elementary school counselor. She has published eight Christian Fiction books, three interactive picture books for Alzheimers patients and their caregivers, and one Romantic Suspense book, published under the pen name of Mia Michaels. She and her husband live in Sun City Anthem, where Brenda is a member of Anthem Authors. She and her husband, John, enjoy home renovation projects, traveling, serving in the community, and spending time with family.

Michael Miner is an author, historian, and publisher based in Henderson, Nevada. He is the founder of Michael T Publications, LLC, and the author of Echoes of Courage: A Suffragist’s Voice, a work grounded in original research on journalist and suffragist Ida Husted Harper and the women’s suffrage movement. Miner holds a Master’s degree in history and is pursuing additional studies in information technology and AI ethics. His work integrates scholarship, public education, and community outreach through lectures, libraries, and book events.

Sherry Hobbs—As the daughter of an Air Force Colonel, she lived in three countries, including Vietnam before the war, France, and dozens of cities in the U.S. Her career includes ten years in social work and forty years in medical sales. She has written three books. She is a widow, has three grandsons and a great-grandson, and lives in Henderson.

Dr. Tanya Crabb is a Marine Corps Gulf War Veteran and novelist whose fiction is rooted in the emotional truth of lived experience. Veronique Holloway is a technical writer and photographer working full-time as a forensic technician. An avid reader, creative writing had never been on her radar until recently. Historical fiction writing has become a new hobby, having written 9 books in a year and a half.
Veronique grew up in a military family, the middle child of seven. She has always had a passion for reading and learning as much as she can about everything she can. When not working or enjoying the written word in some format, she spends as much time as possible riding her bike, kayaking, or traveling.
