Want to give back to the community while earning service hours for different clubs? Come pick up a kit to make catnip mice for the Henderson Animal Shelter! For youth ages 12-17.

Stop by the Youth Services desk from June 15 through August 24 to pick up a kit. Each kit contains supplies to create one catnip mouse. You will receive 1 service hour for each mouse completed. Only 1 kit will be supplied by the library at a time. If you complete your catnip mouse prior to the return date, you may bring it in and redeem for an additional kit. A maximum of 10 kits can be completed for a total of 10 service hours.

All kits (completed or not) must be turned in no later than August 24.
