Program RoomJoin the fun as you excavate & uncover your very own “fossils”! This program combines science, discovery, & a little bit of adventure. Ages 6-11*. No younger children allowed.
Join Red Rock Explorers as Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area partners with Henderson Libraries to dig into the fascinating world of fossils! Discover what ancient life once lived right here in the Las Vegas Valley and how fossils are formed over time, back when this desert was covered by an ancient sea
Space is limited. Please stop by the Customer Service Desk up to 30 minutes before the program to pick up a pass
*Children attending this program must be independent in school-age skills, which include but are not limited to: Following directions, cutting with scissors, folding, counting, tying knots, etc.

Gibson Library is located in the Lake Mead Crossings Center on W. Lake Mead Pkwy. and S. Water St. This location features a drive-thru window, a computer lab, and study rooms.
