Have you ever seen a coyote strolling through your neighborhood? Has a duck turned your backyard into its new home? Have you witnessed a desert tortoise trying to cross the road?
The Living With Wildlife presentation teaches attendees about the basics of some of the species that come into our neighborhoods. You will learn different methods of reducing attractants, exclusion, and hazing. This program also touches on pet safety, as it pertains to wildlife. Learn what to do if you find a baby bird on the sidewalk, who to contact if a desert tortoise is in danger, how to discourage wildlife from getting too cozy in your yard, and more.
Presented by the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Free and open to the public.
