Salinda Strandberg is the Sustainability Advisor with Republic Services who helps people make greener choices without feeling overwhelmed—or giving up their favorite snacks. She’s especially passionate about reducing waste and rethinking how we shop, and she loves breaking big environmental topics down in a way that’s simple, practical, and occasionally funny. She believes small steps matter… and that sustainability should feel doable, not doom‑filled.
Tara Pike is the Sustainability Coordinator for UNLV. She is in her 14th year as the chairperson of the Southern Nevada Christmas Tree Recycling Committee and her 15th year as a member of the Campus Race to Zero Waste Board, currently the Vice President.
