Create works of art or usable objects with a simple sheet of paper! We'll cover the basics of the Japanese art of paper folding. Origami paper will be provided, but feel free to bring your own, too.

Open to beginners. We'll start with simpler folding and demonstrate more advanced objects. Get ready for some hands-on learning! 

Presenters will also have an open floor for anyone to ask questions or contribute. Feel free to bring anything origami-related, such as...

  • A diagram you're stuck on
  • A favorite origami book to recommend
  • A special model for display
  • A origami design or diagramming problem

This program is part of Around the World at Henderson Libraries, a celebration of countries and cultures.
