Yin Yoga for Beginners
This calming yoga session can help improve flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Socks are required. Space is limited. Passes are available at the Adult Services desk 30 minutes before the program.
Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out. Please bring socks, a yoga mat, and a block.
Yin Yoga is a meditative practice in which yoga poses are held for 1 to 3 minutes. Poses can be done standing, sitting, or from a chair. The practice integrates mindfulness, as each pose is a meditation. Gradual complete stretches build pliability in connective tissue and fascia, and stretching along acupressure meridians can improve the flow of energy. Yin Yoga is steady, passive, provides balance, and reduces stress.

Paseo Verde Library is located near Lee Family Forum just off S. Green Valley Pkwy. and Paseo Verde Pkwy. This location features a 1,000 square foot glass wall Reading Room, a volunteer-staffed genealogy room, private Zoom Rooms, and a local coffee shop.
