This 10-hour interactive series (5 workshops) explores the dynamics of the caregiving relationship by bringing professional and family caregivers together in a relaxed setting. Participants will discuss common challenges within caregiving roles, identify caregivers' strengths, vulnerabilities and goals, learn strategies to cope with fatigue, burnout, and other manifestations of stress, discover ways to work together to reduce frustrations and barriers in caregiving and ways to provide mutual support, and gain a better understanding of each other's perspective on what it means to be a caregiver.
